ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Deborah Laing began her career as a model at just 16 and spent her teenage years and early adulthood living and working across the globe. Her journey eventually led her deep into South Africa’s fashion industry, where she coached models and held diverse roles—including business owner, manager, and model booker—gaining extensive experience along the way.
With nearly 30 years in the fashion industry, Deborah has connected with people from all walks of life and is passionate about helping young talent realize their potential—not only as models but across all areas of the industry. She is committed to creating a positive, welcoming environment where individuals can grow, connect, and succeed.
As a dedicated and enthusiastic mentor, Deborah believes that everyone has unique talents and strives to support others on their personal and professional journeys, helping them unlock their full potential.
