Training has always been a passion of mine. I would find myself explaining and teaching people wherever I go. And you know what they say, turn your passion into your business. I feel priviledged to have trained so many students over the past 20 years, and truly look forward to do so for many year still to come.
Our aim is to make a difference, and I would like to invite you to contact me for any training needs. If I do not present the course you are looking for, I will try my best to be able to do so. Welcome!
Our Story
Our story starts in Feb 2004, when a Guest House Manager contacted me for a short course for her staff. I soon realised that Hermanus and the Overberg region didn’t have any short course training centres available at that stage (you had to go over-the-mountain), and so Hermanus Self-Improvement Centre was born.
We have grown from one course, to sometimes running over 10 different courses. We do focus more on the hospitality industry, as tourism is our regions’s main business, but we have branched out through the years. We have been training all through the years and had the priviledge to do so with most of our local hotels, guest houses and restaurants. Looking forward to many years still training.
